Soft House Wash

At Lewistown Painting, we offer a unique pressure washing solution.  Our soft washing system is much better than pressure washing because it is both safer for your home and boasts a much cleaner finished product!  (See below for before and after pictures!)

Here’s why it is better to soft wash a house than pressure wash a house…

Unlike our soft washing, most other pressure washing or power washing systems rely mostly on high amounts of pressure to clean a surface.  They achieve this by pumping air into the water and aggressively pummeling the dirt and debris.

The problem with this traditional pressure washing concept is that high amounts of pressure can be damaging to roofing, siding, and other exterior surfaces.  Vinyl and wood siding, stucco, and other exterior materials are made to withstand rain and other elements, but they are not designed to hold up to the aggressive nature of pressure or power washing.

Because most other pressure washing systems rely on high pressure, they are only effective at a short distance from the surface.  This means that contractors will have to climb ladders to get the job done right.  This is not only more dangerous for them, but can cause additional marks and damage in your home’s exterior where the ladders are leaning against it.

Our soft house washing method prevents all of these issues because it relies on water to clean your home’s surface rather than pressure.  After all, it’s the water that rinses off dirt and debris, not the pressure!

By using a lower PSI and higher volume of water, soft washing can not only do a better job at cleaning your home, but can also protect the exterior surfaces of your home from unnecessary damage.  Not to mention, it can effectively reach an impressive height of 28 feet from the ground, which means no more ladders leaning against your house!
